PeopleSoft DataMover Tip: DataMover Will Create Your Tables and Indexes for You

Here's something I didn't know about DataMover until just now.
If your record object(s) exist in the metadata in a database (i.e. you can see them in App Designer), but they have not been built in the database (i.e. you can't do this...)

select * from ps_tablename

...then DataMover will build both the tables and their indexes for you and then will load the data from your .dat file.

Here is an example of the log messages that show what is happening.
